The Ascent Stretch Pants are versatile synthetic insulation pants designed for active movement in cold weather. Warm, stretchy, breathable, and packable, they are built for all-day wear in the mountains, whether you're ice climbing, mountaineering, skiing, snowshoeing, or tackling other cold-weather objectives.

Featuring 40g PrimaLoft® Gold Synthetic insulation that retains 90% of its insulating capacity when wet, making the Ascent Pant primed to handle sweat, humidity, and changing conditions.

The proprietary shell fabric is wind- and water-resistant while remaining stretchy and breathable, so you'll stay protected without feeling restricted. An ergonomic, articulated fit reduces weight and bulk while allowing for unrestricted movement.

The lower-leg zipper provides easy access over boots, while the wide, stretchy waistband sits comfortably under a harness and features a drawstring for added security. Two zippered hand pockets keep essential items close at hand.

The Ascent Stretch Pants are an exceptionally versatile midlayer that also performs well as a standalone piece. For maximum warmth in extreme cold, we recommend layering them over the Endeavor Fleece Pant and underneath the Monsoon Hardshell Pant 2.0 to create a complete lower-body insulation system.
