Description

The Guide Flex Pants are stretchy, breathable softshell pants built to protect you from the elements such as wind, abrasion, and light to moderate precipitation, as you move through tough terrain. They are designed to be your go-to alpine pants - perfect for ridgeline scrambles, all types of climbing (rock, ice, etc.), and cool-weather hikes.

The boot cut fits over mountaineering boots, ice climbing boots, ski touring boots, and hiking boots, while the lower leg zipper makes it easy for any on-the-go adjustments.

Zippered front pockets keep your valuables safe, while zippers at the base of the pant leg make them easy to put on over boots. The integrated belt system keeps them secure through dynamic movements as the durable performance fabric flexes with every move.

We use top-of-the line YKK zippers for all of our products.

The Guide Flex Pant is made with an incredibly stretchy, durable, breathable, wind- and water-resistant softshell fabric that is great for active movement. If you are headed up to a Colorado 14er, Everest Base Camp, Rainier, or an advanced alpine climb, these pants are a great choice.

Alpine Mountaineering

Used these on a Mount Baker 6-day course. They work great, are durable, and have a good amount of water resistance. Would recommend.

Best all around climbing paint on the market.

Utility, weight, all-arounder, ideal cut, all pockets are zipered, thoughtful touches, style. The best climbing pant I've ever used from scrambles, sport climbing, alpine adventures. It's the best, hands down.

Favorite Hiking Pants

These are some of my favorite pants for hiking and general outdoor activities. The cut does not taper around the ankles as much as the pictures appear to indicate, the pants are trim but not tight to the skin. Size medium at 6 feet tall with a 32 inch waist and fits perfectly, although the waist is adjustable to accommodate for both narrower and wider waists. The materials are stretchy, water resistant, and abrasion resistant as well. So far they have held up well for 4 years since they were purchased.
