I grabbed this shirt on sale because I love the Himali brand and had high hopes for the shirt. I own 5 different sun shirts, each from a different brand, and this is by far the lightest, coolest, and most comfortable of all of them. AND IT HAS A POCKET, which none of the others do. To be honest, there's a second place that is almost as breathable, but is still notably heavier, and without a pocket.
When I bought the shirt, I was concerned about the durability because of how light the material actually is. But I have been blown away. Several mountain runs, including accidental run-ins with trees and rocks, some sand volleyball, and even a bit of climbing, and this shirt is still showing zero wear. Looks brand new. Just waiting for another sale so I can grab another!
Over the years, I’ve owned a number of brands of sun-protection shirts and this is the one I’m settling on. The fabric is lightweight and it serves perfectly either as a hot-summer day shirt or as a baselayer on cooler days. I’ve been out when the temp is over 100F and still comfortable. The fit is just roomy enough, but not baggy. I’m 5’7” and 160# and a medium fits great. After owning sun shirts from at least four other top name brands, I now have 5 of the eclipse hoodies. Glad I finally found Himali and can’t get enough of them!
I purchased this Mens Eclipse Sun Hoodie. I ordered the XL. I am 6'4" and it fits perfectly. It has plenty of space to pull the hoodie over a cap, is super lightweight and and keeps you cool at the same time. (also drys very fast) Can't recommend it more highly. I just ordered a 2nd one in another color.
This is a great piece for my kit. It is comfortable, lightweight, and fits great. I wore it backcountry snowboarding and loved it so much that I came home and ordered another one.
This is my second shirt I purchase. Have used on boats, hiking, snorkeling, it's so comfortable, light and versatile. Great sun protection and ideal for multi day adventures. After 26 years working outdoors I'm so glad I discovered this shirt. It's my new favorite, will definitely order more. Simply amazing

Measurement Guide:
1. SLEEVE: With the elbow slightly bent, measure from the center of the neck (vertebrae), Over the shoulder, along the outside of the arm, and down to the wrist bone
2. CHEST: Measure beneath the arms at the fullest circumference of the chest
3. WAIST: Measure around the narrowest part of the waist.
4. HIP: Measure around the widest part of the hip.
5. INSEAM: Measure the inside of your leg from the highest point down to the ankle or desired pant length.
Tips:
Find a soft tape measure and a helper.
If your sizes line up in two distinct different size categories for chest, waist, or sleeve, choose the larger size.
If your sizing is between two categories, size down for a slim fit and size up for a looser fit.
