An extraordinarily well-rounded mountain enthusiast and the owner of Denver Mountain Guiding @denvermountainguiding - a company that has been creating memorable mountain experiences since 2010. Some of Kevin’s favorite expeditions (from himself, and with clients) are the ‘extra long day trip’. “Why camp when you can get up at 2:00 AM for an 18+ hour day in the mountains?”  

He loves sharing his deep passion for climbing with others and is the author of multiple popular climbing guide books like “Rock Climbing, Clear Creek Canyon” and “The Golden Climbing Guide”.

When he isn't guiding, Kevin spends his free time developing local climbing routes, climbing 5.14s throughout the state, and taking on classic Colorado backcountry routes on skis. You can usually find him somewhere in the mountains with his wife Laura (an impressive athlete in her own right @laura__capps) and their two Golden Retrievers Max and Murphy (great crag dogs and snuggle companions @goldencragdogs).
